What CredScore™ Is

CredScore™ is a credibility score — a number that reflects who you are as a referrer, not just what you've submitted.

Before Credora, a professional referral was a binary transaction. You either made the introduction or you didn't. There was no way for a hiring manager to assess how reliable a referrer was, no track record that accumulated over time, and no way for a strong referrer to stand out from someone who had never successfully referred anyone.

CredScore™ changes that. It's a 0–100 number that gives companies a calibrated signal about the person making the introduction — their professional credibility, their history on the platform, and the quality of their endorsements.

What CredScore™ Reflects

CredScore™ is built from signals across three areas:

Who you are. Your professional background, verified identity, and how completely you've built out your profile all contribute. Referrers who take time to write a strong professional bio and verify their identity on the platform start with a more credible baseline.

The quality of your introductions. The written introduction you submit with each referral is evaluated for quality — how well you know the candidate, how relevant the introduction is to the role, and how genuine and specific your endorsement reads. Strong introductions build your score. Generic or vague ones don't.

Your track record. When hiring managers engage with your candidates, and when those candidates get hired and stay, your score reflects that history. Outcomes matter.

The Four Tiers

Scout. Where every referrer starts. Base payout rate, standard queue placement.

Verified Connector. You've demonstrated consistent introduction quality and your candidates are being taken seriously by hiring managers. Queue priority on competitive roles, improved earning rate.

Trusted Advisor. A meaningful track record of accepted introductions and confirmed hires. Companies can reach out to you directly when a matching role opens. Better earnings, early role access.

Elite Partner. The top tier. Multiple confirmed hires, consistently strong introductions, high acceptance rates. 2× base payout on every confirmed hire, exclusive early role access, and featured placement in company search results.

How to Build It

Complete your profile. Write a genuine professional bio. Describe your background, the industries you know, and the kinds of candidates you can credibly endorse. This is the foundation of your credibility.

Verify your identity. Connecting your LinkedIn takes 30 seconds and gives companies an immediate trust signal about who you are.

Refer people you genuinely know. Five well-written introductions for people you've worked with closely will build your score faster than twenty generic submissions.

Match your domain. Your credibility is strongest in the field where you have direct experience. An introduction in your domain carries more weight than one outside it.

Why Companies Use It

When a hiring manager sees a submission from an Elite Partner, they know they're looking at an introduction from someone who has a verified identity, a history of accurate endorsements, and a track record of successful referrals.

The practical effect is that high-CredScore™ referrers get better engagement — faster responses, more direct communication, and earlier access to hard-to-fill roles. This creates a self-reinforcing dynamic: referrers who invest in quality build score, which produces better outcomes, which builds score further.

CredScore™ starts at zero and grows with every strong introduction. The best starting move is completing your profile and referring one person you know well.
